Jon Webb — Elite Health

Jon Webb

Osteopath, Strength & Conditioning Coach

BOst (Hons) Osteopathy, MSc, BSc (Hons) PE & Sports Science, CSCS

Qualifications

  • B Ost (Hons) Osteopathy
  • Part 1 & 2 Diploma Soft Tissue Manipulation
  • MSc Sports Science (Loughborough University)
  • BSc (Hons) (2:1) PE & Sports Science (Loughborough University)
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS, National S&C Association) since 2002
  • Member of The Institute of Osteopathy
  • Emergency First Aid at Work, including CPR training (1st4Sport)

As a practitioner, Jon’s intention is to provide an empathetic and client-centred approach, utilising a combination of ‘hands on’ soft tissue therapy techniques alongside movement and more traditional ‘strength’ training techniques to help clients maximise their physical capabilities.

Soft Tissue Therapy involves the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia etc) with the aim of addressing tissue tone or tension which may be restricting joint range of movement or causing pain as well as improving circulation and aiding recovery.

Jon aims to identify and address the cause of the issue, rather than just the symptoms, and implement an individualised treatment plan to optimise the body’s natural ability to ‘self-heal’ to restore physical function, maximise athletic capabilities and ‘sporting’ performance and help individuals to optimise their long-term physical and emotional well-being.

To further enhance his existing skills set as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, Jon is currently studying Osteopathy (BOst (Hons)) through The College of Osteopaths (Derby University), due to complete the course in 2025. Developing ‘osteopathic’ skills and techniques including soft tissue manipulation, joint articulations, myofascial release enable Jon to deliver a more holistic approach to his treatments and training plans to maximise function and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium.

With over 20 years’ experience as an S&C Coach, Jon has worked successfully with recreational athletes through to elite-level performers from under 9s to Senior Internationals, and from a variety of sports; including football (Manchester City), rugby (Leicester Tigers), boxing (British Light-Heavyweight Champion), golf (DP World Tour golfer), athletics (Masters 60m/100m Sprinter), cycling, cricket and Paralympic sports.

As well as rehabilitating and re-conditioning sport-related injuries, Jon also treats other common conditions that can negatively impact on peoples’ function and their ability to perform everyday activities, including:

  • muscle pain/discomfort (like hamstring strain)
  • neck and back pain (like herniated discs)
  • nerve irritation/compression (like sciatica)
  • shoulder pain/dysfunction (like frozen shoulder)
  • hip and knee problems (like osteoarthritis)
  • elbow pain (like tennis elbow)
  • tendinopathy (like Achilles tendon or shoulder rotator cuff)
Chris Hilton — Elite Health

  • Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Certification
  • Level 3 Personal Training Certification
  • Level 2 Group Exercise Certification
  • Precision Nutrition — Basic Level Certification

Chris can help with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and problems and also help with management of systemic conditions using a holistic approach.

Soft Tissue Therapy involves the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia etc) with the aim of addressing tissue tone or tension which may be restricting joint range of movement or causing pain as well as improving circulation, reducing any neural tension and aiding recovery.

Chris approaches the body as a whole and aims to identify and address the cause of the issue rather than just the symptoms. This allows him to implement an individualised treatment plan to optimise the body’s natural ability to self-heal and to restore your physical and functional capabilities. Chris’ approach can help individuals to optimise their long term physical and emotional wellbeing.

Chris is currently a final year Osteopathy Student (BOst Hons) through The College of Osteopaths (Derby University). Developing osteopathic skills and techniques including soft tissue manipulation, joint articulations, myofascial release and understanding how the body functions under movement forces enable Chris to deliver very effective treatment and rehabilitation techniques to maximise function, improve performance and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium.

With close to 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Chris continues to build on his knowledge and add to his tool kit to help improve people’s health and wellbeing.

Chris has worked successfully with a wide range of ages and abilities of the general public, recreational athletes all the way through to elite-level performers in football, cricket, rugby, MMA, Boxing, Hyrox and Endurance Athletes.

Alex Walczak — Elite Health

Alex Walczak

Sports Therapist & Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy — University of Birmingham
  • L3 Diploma in Personal Training
  • Sports Massage Therapy
  • Spinal Manipulation
  • Sports Taping
  • Ongoing CPD in sports and musculoskeletal therapy

Born and raised in Poland, Alex has always had a strong passion for sport and physical activity. From a young age she competed locally and internationally in high jump before going on to play county-level handball and volleyball. This extensive sporting background gives Alex a first-hand understanding of the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of effective training, recovery, and injury management.

Although Alex’s first degree was in Anthropology, she soon returned to her true passion for sport and movement, completing a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy at the University of Birmingham, where she specialised in rugby and other contact-sport injuries. Alongside this, Alex qualified as a Personal Trainer, enabling her to combine hands-on therapy with tailored exercise and rehabilitation programmes.

Alex previously worked with Elite Health for 11 years, gaining valuable experience treating a wide range of clients. During this time, she also supported a Super League rugby team and worked within a spa clinic providing relaxation massage, allowing her to develop a versatile and client-focused approach to treatment.

Alex is committed to continually developing her professional skills through ongoing CPD, including spinal manipulation and sports taping. This ensures her clients benefit from safe, effective, and up-to-date treatment approaches tailored to their individual needs.

In 2019, Alex stepped away from her career to focus on raising her two young sons. Now, with her children growing up (and bringing home plenty of rugby-related aches and pains!), Alex is delighted to be returning to Elite Health and to the work she does best — helping clients recover, move better, and feel their best through expert Sports Therapy, relaxing Body Massage, and Personal Training.
